Spotlight

Garvey, a Point Park University alum, recently completed a B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Marketing and Sales. She is currently pursuing the M.S. in Broadcasting and Digital Journalism degree at Syracuse University. In addition to her work with CNN, she has held a variety of roles in the communications space, including work with Mindful Kreative, The Pittsburgh Media Partnership, and The Buhl Foundation. As an undergrad, Garvey competed in the RNMKRS virtual sales challenge, scoring in the top 5% of all competitors. In her free time, she loves traveling to new places, learning new things, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family. Click here to read her CNN article.
